Once you're done with the paperwork, it's time to move on.
Seyda Neen
You're told to take your papers to the guard at the door. Go ahead and pick up your papers from the desk, but don't go to the guard quite yet. There's a shelf in the back of the room with a bunch of items on it. Looking around, you'll see the Limeware Platter, it's worth 650 gold, and at this point in the game, it's worth it. Snatch it, go into your inventory, and drop the Platter on the ground, you'll be accosted by the nearby guard, but you won't have to pay a fine and now Limeware Platter is free for the taking. Believe me, you'll want it to begin your capitalistic mercantile practices.
With your Platter in hand, head towards the door by which the guard is standing, walk through it, and go into the room on your immediate right. You'll be prompted to test out your combat techniques with a free weapon , take it, for now. Head through the door on the other side of the room, it's time to go meet Sellus Gravius (but not before you obey the prompt, and grab that ring from the barrel).
Speak with Sellus Gravius, and he can give you some background information on Morrowind (as can just about everyone). Before you leave him, ask him about duties, he'll give you a package and a little gold, and tell you to deliver it for him. He tells you to find Caius Cosades in Balmora, and that's our first quest.
Then Head to Arrile's Trade House and sell all the stuff you stole from the room. Then buy the chitin bow, the 100 chitin arrows, the iron claymore, and then buy some armor with the rest of your money. Then go up stairs and talk to the guy right in front of you. Ask him about fargoths hiding place then accept and got to the lighthouse. Kill the only person inside so you can take all the stuff and sell it. Then go to the top of the light house and wait until it is dark outside and then u should see someone sneaking around with a torch, that's Fargoth. He will go into the little pond and stop then walk away once he leaves go to the little swamp. There should be hallowed stump use the action button and there should be 300 gold and a journeymans lockpick. Don't bring the gold back to the guy who told you about it you will just lose the gold and get nothing for it. Once you've decided you're done with Seyda Neen for the time-being, head to the east end of town and take a Stilt Strider to Balmora.
